So I'll have been out on my mission for 6 months this week and it's kinda crazy how fast it's all gone by. Well, okay so it feels like I've been out for a long long time but looking back it makes it seem like it's only been a few weeks. I definitely feel like my testimony has increased exponentially though. My faith in Christ and love for Heavenly Father are more than I ever thought they could be. My desire to read the scriptures make the hour I get in the morning feel so short. I never realized all the amazing things there are in the Book of Mormon. Generally I'm just very happy right now and glad I still have 18 months left. 18 months used to feel like a long time but I kinda already know how fast those 18 months will go by.

Sarah's baptism was so great!!! A lot of her non-member and less-active family came and the spirit was very strong. There were also a lot of members there to support her and she was glowing! Elder Hernandez got to preform the baptism and it was his first time baptizing someone on his mission and he did a great job! The confirmation was good too! I got to preform the confirmation and it was my first time as well. It was such a privilege, but I was pretty nervous. Thank goodness for the power of prayer though! I think it went good. It was just pretty short and sweet. She was so happy!! It is the best feeling to see that glow that people have when they are baptized and receive the Holy Ghost and they can feel that change. Being able to help people come closer to God and get on the path back to Him makes me very happy.

Now it's time to find the next piece of wheat.

The weather here has been getting sunny! Life is good. This week has been rather slow. Our teaching pool consist of zero people now but have found some cool people that we hope to start teaching this week. Me and Elder Hernandez are doing a lot better and he is doing better with the work and things, we have had a few really good talks. Also Elder Johnson of the 70 came to a zone conference and spoke to us which was cool. He was a really down to earth guy and reminded a lot of my dad which I thought was funny because he will probably be 70 soon. He talked about not getting ahead of our investigator and understanding where they are at and teaching to that level. Also President Goobler spoke about how in life we go through many journeys whether it's school, a relationship, a mission, and just all of mortal life. He taught that there is a physical side of the journey and a spiritual side. If we are not taking the journey spiritually then we are wasting our time and it can even be harmful to us. For example, Laman and Lemual took the exact same physical journey as Sam and Nephi, but since they were only on the physical journey they didn't receive anything positive from it. I loved this analogy and it definitely helped my comp out a lot. He is slowly getting there. I'm am definitely learning patience and love from him.

My experiment this week. Bacon wrapped chicken thighs stuffed with a cream cheese soy sauce mix. It was amazing!

We randomly walked through a tank testing field.... It got scary when we started to here very loud booms!
In Washington, there are deer crossing signs. Here they have old people crossing signs HAHAHAHA
